Kathleen (Kathy) Grogan Koser
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA - Kathleen (Kathy) Grogan Koser, age 49, of Peachtree Corners, GA, loving wife of James B. Koser, entered into rest suddenly Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Emory St. Joseph Hospital in Sandy Springs, GA. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Simpsonwood Methodist Church. Raised in North Augusta, SC, Kathy graduated from North Augusta High School, where she was the Editor of the Yearbook, member of National Honor Society, Hall of Fame, and the volleyball team. She attended Grace United Methodist Church where she served as an acolyte, was a member of the Grace Singers and received a college scholarship from the United Methodist Women. She attended the University of South Carolina where she earned a degree in English with an emphasis on business. Kathy was vice-president at Wells Fargo Bank where she was a Learning Strategist. In 2013 she celebrated 27 years of service, having started at Georgia Railroad Bank and Trust. Kathy loved to read, cook, spend time with her large extended family and watch the Atlanta Braves. She was always a hard, dedicated worker and a friend to everyone. Survivors include her husband of 17 years, James; sons, Alex and Ryan; parents, Donald M. and Kathleen (Kitty) U. Grogan of North Augusta, SC; brothers, Brian and his wife Cathy Grogan of Suwanee, GA and Kevin Grogan of Charleston, SC; several nieces and nephews. She had, and still has, so many people that loved her and she will always be remembered as a great wife, mother and family member. She will be forever loved. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at Simpsonwood Methodist Church on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:00 pm, followed by services at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kathleen G. Koser memorial fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
