Larry Lewis
AIKEN, SC - Mr. Larry E. Lewis, 67, of Aiken, SC, husband of Mrs. Brittney Stark Lewis, entered into rest on Saturday, December 24, 2016, in the comfort of his home, under the care of Regency Hospice.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Carlos Edwin and Julia Harris Lewis. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from S.R.S after nearly forty years of service, where he was a Supervisor. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting and "tinkering". There was not much of anything that he could not do.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his sons, Larry Bryan Lewis, North Augusta, SC, Nicholas Lewis, St. Peters, MO and Gary Lewis, Ridge Spring, SC; siblings, Carlos Lewis, North Augusta, SC, Marilyn Swearingen, Greensboro, NC and the late Gregory Lewis and grandchildren, Austin, Savannah, Isabella, Dalton, Breanna and Mya Lewis.
The family will greet friends on Friday, December 30th, 2016, beginning at 1 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC, with A Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2 o'clock in the chapel. Bishop Philip Napier will officiate. Veterans Honors will be accorded by a United States Navy Honor Guard.
