Linda Eubanks Sullivan
AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Linda Eubanks Sullivan, age 74, of Aiken, S.C., loving wife for 54 devoted years to Richard S. Sullivan, Sr. and daughter of the late George Eubanks, Sr. and the late Alma Marchant Eubanks, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Debbie (Marc) Sharpe and Sherrie (Mitch) Johnson; sons, Richard S. (Darlene) Sullivan, Jr. and Christopher Patrick (Missy) Sullivan all of Aiken, S.C.; grandchildren, Ashton (Nicholas) Swearingen, Richard S. Sullivan, III, Jonathan Sharpe, Mitchell Johnson, Jr., Shelby Johnson, Tyler Sullivan, Trey and Tyler Bland; a great-granddaughter, Chesnee Swearingen; a special cousin, Tommy Marchant and a special friend, Jackie Sieczkowski.
She was born in Athens, Ga. but has spent most of her life in Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aiken. She was a homemaker, loving wife, very loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her family vacations at the beach, watching the Clemson Tigers play ball and just being involved in her family's life. She would do anything to help anybody, especially her family, and they in turn loved her. They stated that they were, indeed, very blessed to have her in their lives.
Yes, she shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 74 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff at Pepper Hill for the wonderful care that they gave to their loved one during her stay there and also to all the caregivers at Regency Hospice for their special love and care. You were all her "Angels" here on earth.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, January 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating her life and home going, will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aiken, S.C. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Father Gregory Wilson officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. Her grandsons will service as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 438, Aiken, S. C. 29802. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
