Lonnie Bohannon
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mr. Lonnie Bohannon, 59, beloved husband of Mrs. Marguerite "Margaret" Workman Bohannon, entered into rest on Thursday, August 28th, 2014.
Born in McRae, GA, he was a son of the late Grady and Christine Yancey Bohannon. He had been a resident of Warner Robins, GA, prior to coming to the CSRA, in 1988. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a former Truck Driver and Carpenter. Lonnie enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. He was a member of the NRA and Bassmasters. He was a very kind and caring person, who was a volunteer for the Children's Challenge and was a former Tee Ball coach.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include a son, James "Jamie" (Katrina) Bohannon, Graniteville, SC; siblings, Roy (Bonnie) Bohannon, Martinez, GA, the late Jane Davis, Bertha Snyder, Eastman, GA and Brenda (Ricky) Betsill, Orangeburg, SC; grandchildren, Jessica Hunley and Joseph Carter Bohannon, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, special nephew, David Martin, special friend, Frances Weber and his four legged children, Littleman, Zoey and Bit Bit.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on (today) Saturday, August 30th, 2014, at 4 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Dr. Ronald Q. Moore officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his special friends, Danny Powell, Ron Weber and Joe Loveday.

Friends will be greeted by the family on (today) Saturday from 3 o'clock until the time of service at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
