Williston, SC - Funeral services for Mazzie Louise Whaley McCaw, 69, of Williston will be held three p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Reverend David Palmer officiating; burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Saturday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. The family has requested that memorial contributions be given in Louise's memory to the , 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790. Louise passed away Friday, February 28, 2014.
Born in Springfield she was a daughter of the late Hugh K. Whaley, Sr. and Margie Williams Whaley. She was a graduate of Williston-Elko High School and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She formerly worked for Bud Burma, Elkay Industries, H & R Block and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Wyman Q. McCaw, Sr. of the home; daughters, Lissa (David) Carroll of Aiken, Susan McCaw of Williston; a son, Quinton (Lisa) McCaw, Jr. of Graniteville; grandchildren, Angelo McCaw, Sydney and Brooklyn Glover, Colby and Blakeley McCaw, Daniel, Jason, Kristen and Brian Carroll and Courtney Herlong; sisters, Faye Bodiford of Williston, Elisabeth Hinshaw of Branchville; sister-in-law, Cathy Whaley of Williston; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Hugh Kenneth Whaley, Jr. and William Albert "Billy" Whaley.
