Louise Riley Ramdeen
MARIETTA, GA - Louise Riley Ramdeen, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in Marietta, GA.
She was born September 16, 1939, in Aiken, SC to Rev. John R. Riley and Minnie (Roberson) Riley. A graduate of New York University and Columbia Institute, Louise desired to be an entrepreneur, opening up Aiken's first Christian bookstore, Goldenrod Christian Bookstore. An avid baker and chef, Louise delighted family and friends with the world's best brownies and the most succulent roast turkey and stuffing known to man. She truly lived life through simple pleasures: chatting with friends and family, cooking, and praying daily for everyone by name. She was the definition of a pray warrior. We are enriched by all the written and verbal prays of hope, health, and happiness, she has brought to the Lord for those she loved.
She is survived by sons, Gerald P. Ramdeen, Marc A. Ramdeen, Christopher E. Ramdeen and Frank A. Link; daughters: Gayle Ramdeen-Link, Janie Peterson Ramdeen, Nichole Ford Ramdeen, Jackie Amilcar Ramdeen and Rhonda Novak; brothers, Murray Riley, Reverend Ruben Riley, Sr., Deacon E. M. Riley and Deacon John H. Riley; sisters-in-law, Allene, Flossie, Laura, and Gloria; brothers-in-law, Will Cummings and Johnnie Rouse; sisters, Nona R.
