Mrs. Loyce Hargrove
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mrs. Loyce Hargrove, 89, wife of Raymond W. Hargrove, Jr., entered into rest on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at National Health Care.
Her memorial service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. James D. Dennis, Jr. and Dr. John Newell officiating. Inurnment services were private.
Mrs. Hargrove was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was the owner/operator of Loyce's Ladies Shop for 21 years where she befriended many wonderful customers. She attended Tubman High School and Jr. College of Augusta, was an avid golfer and gardener, and a member of the Knox Wilhelm Circle. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother,
Additional survivors include one son, David Hargrove and his wife Martha, one daughter-in-law, Polly M. Hargrove, all of North Augusta, SC; three grandchildren, Travis Hargrove and his wife Heather, Ashley Bean and her husband Uriah, and Chris Hargrove; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Cora Lee Williams Scott Chandler and Charles Scott; one son, Charles Richard Hargrove; one grandson, Michael Bruce Hargrove; and two sisters, Vita Scott Thompson and Betty Scott Brown.
The family received friends following the service at the church.
Honorary Pallbearers were the members of Knox Wilhelm Circle.
