Mae R. Harrelson
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Funeral Services for Mrs. Mae R. Harrelson, 87, who entered into rest May 30, 2014, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3:30 PM from the Posey Funeral Chapel. A private family interment will be held.
Mrs. Harrelson was a native of Edgefield County, having made Augusta her home for the past 46 years. She was a member of Bible Deliverance Temple and was a former Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Harrelson worked for the Graniteville Company for many years and retired from the Kresge Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Harrelson, her son, Carl Edward "Jerry" Moore and her former husband, Lucius Moore.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul Moore, Columbia, SC and Tommy and Dale Moore, Clearwater, SC; two sisters, Grace Derrick, Trenton, SC and Irene Hutchinson, Martinez, GA; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
The family would like to thank God's Haven of Care and Trinity Hospice for their loving care.
