Marian Lawter Robinett
AIKEN, SC - Marian Lawter Robinett, age 90, of Aiken, S.C., passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Robinett Agee and Michael Agee of Salisbury; son, Gregory Lynn Robinett and Pat Robinett of Seneca, S.C, four grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William
Robinett in 1965 and her sister, Dorothy McClellan.
She was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 19, 1924, but has been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1955. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Aiken. She retired after a twenty five year career in the administrative office of the Aiken County Public School District in 1989.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that lived her life with caring, kindness, and great generosity to her family and friends. Her life centered on her faith, family and friends. She has always been close to her family including her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all whose life she touched.
The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church, Aiken, SC on Friday, January 30th at 12:00noon.
A service, celebrating her life, will be held on Friday, January 30th, at the First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield Street NE Aiken, S.C. at 1:00pm. Pastor Fred. W. Andrea III will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Post Office Box 3157, Aiken, South Carolina 29802.
