WINDSOR, SC - Funeral services for Mary Belle
Hopkins Adkinson, 95, of Windsor, SC will be held four p.m., Tuesday, July 28th at the First Baptist Church of Windsor with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from two p.m. until the time of the service at the church on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Romanian Missions C/O Chime Bell Baptist Church, 1013 Chime Bell Church Road, Aiken, SC 29803. Mrs. Adkinson passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015.
Born in Washington, GA she was a daughter of the late John David Hopkins, Sr. and Mary Jane Brown Hopkins. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Windsor and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda (Gary) Fleetwood and Linda Adkinson all of Windsor; sister: Elsie Rogers of Augusta; grandchildren Andrew (Jasmine) Fleetwood, Patience (Shane) Drawdy, Benjamin Fleetwood; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Chance, and Hannah Watson, Tristan Drawdy, Noelle and Sage Fleetwood; special caregiver, Cindy Jackson and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Hopkins, Agnes H. Huff, Irene H. Miller, Louise H. Mulkey-Phelps, Lucille H. Bailey and brothers, Lee, Newton, John David, Jr., Marvin, Charlie, Theodore, and Truman Hopkins.
