Mary Nunley
BEECH ISLAND - Mary Ruth (Morgan) Nunley, 75, of Beach Island, South Carolina, formerly of the Soddy-Daisy and Dallas Bay area, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. She attended Oak Street Baptist Church early in life and later the Dividing Ridge Church of God. She was a 1959 graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School and the McKenzie Business College. Mary worked at the Dollar General Store on Dallas Bay Road. She moved to Beach Island, South Carolina in 1984. She worked at Publix in North Augusta, South Carolina. Mary loved lakes, rivers, fishing and flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Viola Morgan and brother, James Carl Morgan.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Ray Nunley; children, Timothy C. Nunley (Sonia), David R. Nunley (Sherri) and Karen Nunley Johnson (Andy); brother, Richard Guy Morgan; sister, Nancy Morgan; 7 grandchildren, Tiffany, Josie, Casey, Samantha, Mikaela, Zachary and Dawson; great grandchildren, Dakota, Jack, Lyla and Ali and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, May 13, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Caldwell officiating. There will be a family gathering 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
