Hatcher Jr.
Aiken, SC - Maurice "Chip" Hatcher, Jr., age 51, of Aiken, SC and beloved husband to Kimberly Leskauskas passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 13, 2014. Born in Ft. Leavenworth, KS. he was the son of Eugene and Mary Perkins Kuruc. Chip served with honor in the US Navy and was employed as a Senior Health Physics Tech for DZ Atlantic. An avid golfer in his spare time, Chip was a passionate fan of the NY Giants, Mets and the UCONN Huskies. Loving and generous husband, son, father and brother, he will be deeply and sadly missed by family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Kim of 25 years and his parents, Eugene and Mary, he is survived by his children, Nicholas and Kyle of SC.; his brother Christopher Kuruc (Shannon) of Milford; mother-in-law Nancy Leskauskas sister-in-law Lisa Cullen (Rob) and brother-in-law Ed Leskauskas (Jackie) of FL and nine nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 19th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, 26 Broadway, Milford, CT 06460. Burial will be private and there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chip's Kids, 56 Boothbay St., Milford, CT 06460.
