Merce B. Rayos
AIKEN, SC - Merce B. Rayos, age 58, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband of Patricia Gorden Rayos and son of the late Psteban Rayos and the late Rufina Rayos, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 28, 2015.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Ryan and Dusty Rayos both of Aiken, S.C. and Jason (Kellyn) Morrison of Graniteville, S.C.; daughters, Sheri (Pete) Barton, Graniteville, S.C. and Amy Sutton of Lexington, S.C.; brothers, David, Steve, Jesse and Micky Rayos all of Pecos, Texas and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Libroia Rayos.
He was born in Pecos, Texas but has been a resident of Aiken County the last twenty-six years. He was a retired nurse and was presently employed as a board walker with Enloe Aluminum in Aiken. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of Banner of Love Church in Aiken. He shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 58 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones. "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain.
A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home today, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ashley Hawkins officiating. The interment will follow at the
Warrenville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Austin Barton, Pete Barton, Josh Chavis, Patrick Gray, Derrick Emerson, Timothy Gorden, Mikey Sutton and Ricky Hawkins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
