Michael Pearson
SMOCK, PA - Funeral services for Mr. Michael Pearson, 52, of Smock, Pennsylvania, who entered into rest August 25, 2017, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. The Reverend Nancee A. Cekuta officiating. Entombment in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mr. Pearson was a native of Clearwater, having made Smock his home for the past 16 years. He was an Episcopalian and a Mobile Sales and Service Technician with Bridgestone Hose Power. A graduate of Midland Valley High School, he attended Spartanburg Methodist College and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Pearson was predeceased by his stepfather Lawrence R. Sisk, Jr. and a brother, Lawrence R. Sisk, III.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Douglas Pearson, Jackson, and Christopher Matthew Pearson, Belle Vernon, PA; a granddaughter, Layla Michelle Pearson; mother, Anne Thomas Sisk, Clearwater; father, Gerry W. "Butch" Pearson, Aiken; three brothers, Clay Pearson, Eric Sisk, and Jeff Sisk, all of Clearwater; aunt, Jeannine E. Sisk, Clearwater; mother of his children, Teresa Pearson, Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Dan Hallman, Jeff Hallman, Daniel Hallman, Brian Wilson, Chris Wilson, and Todd Randall.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5 until 7.
