Michelle M. Marfitt
WARRENVILLE, SC - Mrs. Michelle M. Marfitt, 53, entered into rest in the comfort of her home on Sunday, August 16th, 2015, with her husband, Tracy Dorton, at her side.
Born in Bayonne, NJ, a daughter of Frank and Muriel Carrie Klimek, she had been a former resident of Melbourne, FL, prior to relocating to Aiken County, SC, in 2008.
She was the Branch Manager of Labor Ready, Augusta, GA. Michelle attended Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene, participated in Celebrate Recovery, was a member of BNI and enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to her parents, family members include her children, Allen Marfitt and his wife, Jennifer, Warrenville, SC and Sharon Walker and her husband, Ray, Killen, AL; brothers, Mike and Steven Klimek, both of Batesburg, SC; sisters, Darlene Klimek, Batesburg, SC, Lori Russo, NJ, and Doreen Chuck, NJ and three grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, Michelle will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, August 19th, 2015, at 11 o'clock at Cedar Creek Church, Aiken, SC, (main campus) with Pastor Phillip Lee officiating.
If so desired, memorials may be made to Christ Central Aiken. (www.christcentral.com)
The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 10 until 11 o'clock at Cedar Creek Church.

Michelle touched many lives here at TrueBlue/Labor Ready. She always had a positive attitude and enjoyed helping people everyday. Her journey on earth has made a big difference in many lives and I will miss her but know that she is at peace.

So sad to hear of Michelle's death.
She was a new member of our Valley Alliance board and we were happy with her enthusiastic approach to her work and mission in life. She seemed so eager to be helpful.
