NEW ELLENTON, SC - Mrs. Mildred "Mitt" Turner, age 87, widow of Herbert Turner, of 710 Shady Lane passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church, 97 Dry Branch Rd with Rev. Bruce Wright, officiating. Interment will be private.
She was the daughter of McNeil Bush and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Green.
Her parents, her husband, her daughter, Yvonne Brunson, her son, Herbert Turner El, sister, Eloise Battles Valentine, brothers, James Bush, Earl Roberson, Jr., and Fred Roberson (Louise), brothers-in-law, Rev. Timothy Turner, Sr (Lena Mae), Charles Turner, and George Turner preceded her in death; leaving to cherish her memory: daughters, Juanita Gilliam, Augusta, GA, and Shirley Ann Nesmith, Westampton, NJ; daughter-in-law, Lois Turner El; sons, Marion Roberson, Philadelphia, PA, Rudolph Turner El and Thurnell Turner El (Francine), both of New Ellenton, SC; brothers,
Raymond Roberson (Anne), and Kenneth Roberson (Thelma), Aiken, SC; brother-in-law, Willie Lee Walker (Gussie Mae), New Ellenton, SC; sisters-in-law, Emma Mae Boylen, Aiken, SC, Annette Hill, Washington, DC and Bernice Turner, Baltimore, MD and a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; other relatives.
In lieu of sprays, the family would appreciate receiving pot plants.
