Mrs. Myrtle Glen Scogin
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Graveside Services for Mrs. Myrtle Glen Scogin, 85, of Crystal Lake Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest September 19, 2014, will be conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Dr. Robert F. Fuller, Jr., officiating.
Mrs. Scogin was a native of Edisto Island, South Carolina, a former resident of Columbia, having made North Augusta her home for the past 60 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Augusta, the Telfair Sunday School Class, a former Sunday School Teacher and participated in Child Evangelism Fellowship. Mrs. Scogin was a 40 year member of the Martintown Road Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and wife of the late James Thomas Scogin.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Carol Scogin, North Augusta; three grandsons, Aaron Leland Benjamin Scogin, Christopher Glen Scogin and James Kirk Scogin; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Frank William Glen, Jr, and Leland James Glen both of Columbia, SC; a sister, Betty Ann Glen Eversman, Fairfield Glade, TN.
The family will receive friends at the Graveside following the service.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, 4246 Washington Road, Evans, GA 30809.
