Noah Alston Turner
GRANITEVILLE, SC - Mr. Noah Alston Turner, 75, beloved husband of fifty-four years to Mrs. Lois Penwell Turner, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was one of twelve children born to the late Noah Arthur and Essie Queen Ardner Turner. He was a retired Truck Driver. Mr. Turner enjoyed fishing and was passionate about Ford Trucks. More than anything, however, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include daughters, Cherrie Turner Johnson and her husband, George, Trenton, SC and Tina Turner Morris and her husband, Otis, Beech Island, SC; siblings, Richard Turner, Aiken, SC, the late Evelyn Turner, Peggy Stephens, Aiken, SC, Shelbia Rosier, Charleston, SC, the late Charlotte Shaw, Christine Turner, Aiken, SC, Wilson Turner, GA, Bonnie Metts, Trenton, SC, Lucky Turner, Aiken, SC, Randy Turner, Aiken, SC and Tim Turner, Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Heather Johnson Womack and her husband, Jimmie, Alexandria Johnson Bryan and her husband, Brandon, Bryana Destiny Johnson, James Adam Morris and Jacob Alston Morris and great-grandchildren, Harper Rae Bryan and Haddie Ann Bryan.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, morning, August 20th, 2016, from 9:30 until 10:30 at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A graveside service will follow at 11 o'clock in Vaucluse Cemetery, Vaucluse, SC.
