Aiken, SC - Rev. Olin R. Sizemore, 84, husband of Mrs. Mary Ann Seigler Sizemore, of Aiken, SC, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014. He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Lowe; brothers, Edward, Preston, Finley and Jesse Sizemore and a grandson, Scott Sizemore.
Surviving with his wife are four children: James Sizemore (Jackie), David Sizemore (Angie), Teresa Thompson (Danny) and Sara Fulmer (Freddie), all of Aiken, SC; his brother, Wilbur Sizemore, Windsor, SC; twelve grandchildren: Mandy Korey, Clint Sizemore, Brandi Sizemore, Ashley Stone, Zach Stone, Angela Sbardella, Charidy Simon, Dillon Thompson, Heather Barton, Jesse Fulmer, Lee Fulmer and Meg Schwarzrock, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild due in August.
Rev. Sizemore was born in Aiken, SC to the late Jesse Wayne and Ozella Blackmon Sizemore. He served as the Pastor of several S.C. and GA Baptist churches retiring with 64 years of service and for 23 years, he was a U.S. Postal Service rural letter carrier. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Aiken, SC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday at 4 o'clock at Central Baptist Church with Revs. Mike Catoe and Chris Addy officiating. Rev. Sizemore will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be his fellow musicians.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Central Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1652 wire Road, Aiken, SC 29805.
The family will greet friends on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, US Hwy. No. 1, Langley, SC.
