BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Mr. Oneal Hallman, 82, entered into rest on Friday, July 11th, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Addie Smith Hallman.
Surviving is a daughter, Joanie Hallman Lindsay (Eric), Beech Island, SC, a son, Dr. Maxie Hallman (Cheryl), Merced, CA; grandchildren: Hannah Redd-Hallman, of Merced, California, Dylan Hallman, of Portland, OR and Aliena Kyzer ( Wesley, Sr), of Spartanburg, SC; great grandchildren: Wesley Kyzer, Jr, Kaila Kyzer and Aiden Kyzer, all of Spartanburg, SC.
Mr. Hallman was born in Saluda County, SC and a longtime resident of Langley, SC. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He retired from SCE & G and ran Hallman Motors for forty years. He was a longtime member of Town Creek Baptist Church, Aiken, SC. He loved fishing and working hard but he loved spending time with his family most of all.
He was known for his kindness and generosity throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 o'clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
Pallbearers will be Walter McDonald, Wayne Cadden, Rudy Lindsay, Buzz Toole, Billy Goff and Matthew Kubicek.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the ,, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60601
The family will greet friends today, July 15th, 2014 from 7 until 9 at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation, US Hwy. No. 1, Langley, SC.
