NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Pearle Redd Bowen Sloan, 96, who entered into rest July 31, 2014, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. John D. Meyer Officiating. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Sloan was a native of Aiken County, having made North Augusta her home for the past 25 years. She was a member of Belvedere First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Golden Glow Chapter #76. Mrs. Sloan was a loving mother who was a dedicated homemaker and talented seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ladson and Lois Wright, Gloverville, SC and Ron and Pat Hodges, Greensboro, NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bill Goff, Gilbert, SC; a sister, Jewel Boland, Augusta, GA; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Order of the Eastern Star, Golden Glow Chapter #76. Active Pallbearers will be Lad Wright, Shannon Hodges, Kenny Hodges, Brett Goff, Patrick Goff and William Mangus.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

To all the family:
My prayers are with you during this time of loss in the death of your precious mother. Aunt Pearle will always be remembered for so many things, but I will never forget the times me and my sisters got to visit her.She always showed us so much love. I will truly miss her!
