Peter William Farace Jr.
AIKEN, SC - Peter William Farace Jr. succumbed to his battle with aggressive lung and brain cancer at the age of 50. Peter was born, and died, a fighter who always marched to the beat of his own drum. Though he could be a pain in the neck to almost everyone around him, behind that tough exterior was a well-mannered caretaker at heart. He would go out of his way to help friends, family, and strangers alike. Battling issues himself throughout his life, he always had a soft spot for helping those less fortunate.
Peter loved his movies. He must have seen every movie at least 5 times, with a penchant for cheesy horror movies, old westerns, and kung-fu flicks. His hidden talent was drawing, and only a lucky few were able to see his work. He had a wonderfully deep, booming laugh, a mysteriously iron-strong finger, and endless, (sometimes exaggerated) stories that always kept you wondering. He was a lover of animals and a great cook (especially Italian). He could eat twice what he made, but only after feeding everyone first, that was his nature.
Hardheaded as Peter could be, there was one person that could get through to him - his mother. Having passed away last year, the two have once again reunited to live in peace forever. Peter is survived by his sister, Bryn, his nephew, Chris, his uncle, Tom, his cousins Ingrid and Jonathan, and his friends John and Darlene.
