Phyllis Ralston Rous
AIKEN, SC - Phyllis Ralston Rous passed away with some family members present on June 20th. Phyllis is a great-grandmother 5 times. She will be missed by families all over the World as she coordinated the PARS Junior Golf Foundation for 21 years. She found hundreds of scholarships for student athletes from all over the World to attend college in the USA.
Before that Phyllis from 1983-1998 assisted the Dept of Justice and Drug Enforcement Agency in numerous different countries apprehending major drug offenders. She has been rewarded for relentless pursuit of drug cartels throughout Mexico and South America.
Phyllis has four children. Joseph, Melanie, Jeanne, and Cyndy. She leaves a loving husband Brian. Phyllis loved Aiken the first time she visited and has been living in Aiken for 10 years. She resided for 20 years in Florida before coming to the great state of South Carolina in 2006.
Phyllis is a five time great-grandmother and leaves five grandchildren Jeremy, Sheila both from Washington state, Robert from Pompano Beach, Florida and brothers Freeman and Forrest from Vancouver, WA.
Services will be June 25th at St. Mary's Church on Park Ave at 10:00am.
