Rilla Jackson
BATH, SC - Mrs. Rilla Mae Jackson, 83, of Bath, SC, beloved wife of fifty-eight wonderful years to Mr. Frank Jackson, entered into rest on Thursday, February 16, 2017, in the comfort of her home.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Daisy Leaptrott Ryals. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Jackson was a dedicated and active member of Bath First Baptist Church, Bath, SC, where she had formerly worked in the nursery. She enjoyed vacations at the beach, cooking, shopping, and watching soaps. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her grands and great-grands.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Wanda Jackson, Bath, SC and the late Tony Glisson, siblings, Tommy Ryals, Deridder, LA and the late Billy Ryals, grandchildren, Kasey Wiggins and her husband, Chris, Brandon Padilla and his wife, Stephanie and Stephanie Aubuchon and her husband, Justin and great-grandchildren, Cody Wiggins, Kaylee Rockwell, Chris Hair, Landon Aubuchon, Savannah Padilla and Jackson Padilla.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19, 2017, from 3 until 5 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017, at 2 o'clock at Bath First Baptist Church, Bath, SC. Pastor Herb Sons will officiate. Pallbearers will be Randy Couey, Michael Couey, Ronnie Duncan, Tommy Paschall, Clyde Coleman and Harry Barton. Interment will follow Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
It has been suggested that memorials be made to Solomon's Project at Bath First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 240 Bath, SC 29816. (www.bathfbc.org)
