Rodney Maurice Craig
AIKEN, SC - Mr. Rodney Maurice Craig, age 54, of 517 Staubes Lane, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Friendship Baptist Church, 515 Richland Avenue NE (Viewing 1 PM-2PM) with Rev. T. C. Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Rodney was born in Rome, New York but lived most of his life in Aiken. He joined Old Rosemary Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Rodney was a cook in the United States Navy, and cooked at several local restaurants including The Wilcox Inn. Rodney loved his family and had a kind spirit.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Henry and Nancy Craig; a devoted companion, Levoria Ann Moore; sisters, Shawn Craig-Parker (James) and Renee Frails; his nieces, Casey, Kayla Frails and Amira Parker; his nephew, Tahir H. Parker.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6-7 PM.
