Ruth A. Curry
EDGEFIELD, SC - Mrs. Ruth A. Curry, of Oak Street, entered into rest March 14, 2015 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. R. C. Holloway officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Curry, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Shaws Creek Baptist Church where she served as chief of the usher's ministry. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Curry and Mary Mays; two sons, Albert (Irish) Curry and Milton (Renee) Curry; two sisters, Minnie (Frank) Bush and Martha (Booker T.) Holmes; two brothers, Leroy Mathis and Frank (Velma) Mathis; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call the residence.
