Sheila Newton
NORTHAUGUSTA- Mrs. Sheila Lynn Richardson Newton, 54, of North Augusta, SC, beloved wife of twenty-four years to Mr. William H. Newton, entered into rest on Monday, October 2, 2017, following a tragic accident on Saturday.
A lifelong resident of the CSRA, she was a daughter of the late Jack O. and Waunell Smith Richardson. She, along with her husband William, owned and operated William's Automotive. Sheila was a 1980 graduate of Midland Valley High School and was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, (Dale, Jr. being her favorite) and yardwork. Other than her relationship with GOD, nothing was more important to her than being with her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, family members include her children and their spouses, Mickey Dewayne Newton and his wife, Shannon, Graniteville, SC, Tiffany Sha Phillips and her husband, Royce, Quitman, TX and Tanya Michelle Alexander, Andalusia, AL; siblings, Daniel Richardson, North Augusta, SC, Beverly Turner, Grovetown, GA, Mike Turner, Warrenville, SC, Floyd Turner, Lincolnton, GA, the late Stan Richardson and the late Robbie Turner, grandchildren, Kayla Newton, Erica Newton, Tommy Phillips, Brandi Phillips, Kristi Alexander and Eric Newton, as well as several very special nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, with Pastors Tom Kalliokoski and Preston West officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Dewaye Newton, Dakota Couch, Ian Turner and Robert Turner.
