Tanama M. Maldonado
AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Tanama M. Maldonado, age 85, of Aiken, S.C., wife of Arsenio Maldonado entered into rest on September 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father Pedro Morales, and mother Justina Rodriguez of Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Laura Ivis Maldonado of Aiken, S.C., Yvette Quinones (Carlos) of Greenwood, S.C., Jessica Maldonado-Glover (Alan) of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Caridad Quinones, Greenwood, SC, Marisa Bright (LeBron), Greenwood, SC, Emanuel Quinones of Charleston, SC, Carlos Quinones of Greenwood, SC, Brandon Glover and Christian Glover, both from Aiken, SC; sisters, Librada Morales Rodriguez, Moraima Morales Rodriguez, Loarina Morales Rodriguez, Anabi Morales Rodriguez, Guanina Morales Rodriguez, and a brother Nahon Morales Rodriguez all of Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. She was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico in 1929, lived 34 years in New York and for the past 23 years she has been a resident of Aiken County. She was retired from Doubleday. She was a member of St Gerard's Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during her beautiful life. However, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she will live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. Funeral and interment were held in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico on September 8, 2014. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at St. Mary Help of Christians Church in Aiken, SC, Saturday morning, September 20, 2014 at 10:00 am. Flowers may be sent to the church.
