LEESVILLE, SC - Service for Thomas D. "Tommy"
Hawfield, 79, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Leesville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sandra King officiating. Burial will follow in Pond Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to Leesville UMC 510 East Columbia Ave. Leesville, SC 29070.
Mr. Hawfield passed away Tuesday July 7, 2015. Born in Fort Mill, he was a son of the late James C. and Margaret Garrison Hawfield. He loved his life and Leesville UMC where he served as a SS Teacher and a member of the Men's Bible Study. Mr. Hawfield was an Army Veteran and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass and Kmart.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela A. Hawfield, sons, Quincy D. (Juanita), James T. (Jane) and Darin W. (Kelly) Hawfield, sisters, Mary Clare Youngblood, Cornelia "Nicki" Buchanan and Joyce Flenniken, grandchildren, Jesse, Zara, Dwight and Eliza Hawfield, Julia Miller, Chris and Austin Rogers, Kassidy Townley, and a great-grandchild, Chloe Rogers. He was pre-
deceased by his wife Edith G. Hawfield.
