Thomas Marvin Feagin
AIKEN, SC - Thomas Marvin Feagin, age 76, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband for 54 years to Carolyn Mitchell Feagin and son of the late Willie Feagin and the late Lula Mae Glover Feagin, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 14, 2014.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Paula Clark of Belvedere, S.C.; sons, Ted Whetstone of Johnston, S.C., Marty Feagin of Stiefeltown, S.C., Tommy Feagin of Wagener, S.C.; a sister, Faye Cochran of Langley, S.C.; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Posey; a sister, Agnes Wood and a brother, Amos Feagin.
He was born in Edgefield, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C.
He worked for over 20 years as a General Foreman for Daniel Construction Co. and after that, he owned and operated his own Cabinet Shop business for over five years in Stiefeltown. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Aiken.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 76 precious years that God granted him on this earth; however, death is not the end, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe and trust in Him. He has just made that great transition to his new Heavenly home, where all is joy and peace in a land where no more sad goodbyes are ever spoken. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday evening, November 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
A service, celebrating his life, will be conducted Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Grover and Rev. Carl Hayes officiating.
The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery.
The Pallbearers will be Ricky Posey, Marshall Jay, Steven Jay, Dennis Porter, Michael Ford and Steven Swearingen. Memorials may be made to the Aiken County Animal Shelter, 411 Wire Rd., Aiken, S.C. 29801.
