Tobee Jay Cowley
AIKEN, SC - Tobee Jay Cowley, 9 year old son of Neil Jay and Lacie Whitcotton Cowley, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015.
Tobee was born at Camp Pendleton, CA. He and his family moved to Aiken in 2013, and he was a 4th grade student at Chucker Creek Elementary.
He was the best big brother; playful, so funny, loving, thoughtful and caring, very happy, loved his cats and dog, science, history, and computers, and had an amazing smile. He loved dolphins, and his favorite football teams were the Gamecocks and Denver Broncos.
Tobee loved art, his new home in SC and its history, baseball, soccer, and golf.
He was very creative, extremely smart, and gave his family the greatest 10 years of their lives. He was the greatest son any parent could have asked for.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Cayden Cowley, Aiken; maternal grandparents, Jack and Debbie Whitcotton, Pahrump, NV; paternal grandparents, Terry Cowley, Pahrump, and Janet Cowley, Henderson, NV; maternal great grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Shafer "Buddy and GG"; aunts, Morgan Whitcotton and Sharlene (Tyler) Leavitt; uncle, Mason Cowley; cousins, Robby Bustos, T.J. Leavitt and Toni Cowley; several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave. with the Reverends Dr. Brian Coulter, Dr. Phillip Dunn and Bill Howard officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family for a college fund benefiting Tobee's brother, Cayden.
