Tommy Berrie, Sr.
Graniteville, SC - Mr. Tommy Berrie, Sr., 83, husband of the late Carolyn Miller Berrie and former husband of Margaret Fulmer Berrie, entered into rest on Sunday, March 9th, 2014.
Born in Duval County, FL and a resident of Aiken County most of his life, he was a son of the late Eugene S. and Jessie Lee Beck Berrie. He was the former owner and operator of Berrie Well Drilling. He was a member of Believers Worship Center. Mr. Berrie was a member of the SC Ground Water Association and enjoyed "tinkering" with things.
In addition to his parents, late wife and former wife, family members include children, Frank Berrie, Warrenville, SC, Olin (Crystal) Berrie, Warrenville, SC, Timmy (Sharon) Berrie, Graniteville, SC, Faye (Buck) Sowers, Graniteville, SC, Alicia (Randy) Worth, Moncks Corner, SC and the late Jimmy Thomas, siblings, Marie Woodward, North Augusta, SC, the late Marion E. Berrie and the late Emile "Sonny" Berrie, nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 2014 at 3 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC. Interment will follow in Montmorenci First Baptist Church Cemetery, Montmorenci, SC.
If so desired, memorials may be made to the Believers Worship Center.
