Wanda Mechele Bryant
NEW ELLENTON, SC - Wanda Mechele Bryant, 47, answered God's call to enter into eternal rest and be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Wanda lived her life helping others and serving the Lord. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church, 97 Dry Branch Road, Aiken, SC 29803 beginning at 11:00AM and will lie in-state from 10:00AM-11:00AM, with Rev. Stevie Berry, officiating. Burial will follow in the Runs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
As a nurse at Georgia Regents, Wanda was described as a kind and compassionate person who would go to the end of the earth to assist her patients. She was always willing to lend a helping hand even if it meant she had to go out of her way. She worked hard and lived life to the fullest, often exploring and traveling with her family and friends. She cherished her family and friends and had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed.
She is survived by her parents, Willie James (W.J.) and Beatrice Bryant; son, Willie De'Angelo (Courtney) Bryant and her grandchildren Jaden, London and
Sydney; two sisters, Denese (Robert) Williams and Lesha Bryant; one brother, Willie Anthony (Lisa) Bryant; two God-brothers, Timothy (Tonya) Bryant and Garrick (Detrice) Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other special relatives and friends who cherished her.
