Warren Kosinski
EDISTO, SC - Warren Kosinski departed this life on the morning of January 1, 2016. Born on August 10, 1949, he led a life of accomplishment, having served in the military and painting worldwide.
When he came to Edisto several years ago, he took on the life of a house painter.
He was well respected by others in the homebuilding industry and considered to be very talented.
He especially enjoyed spending time socializing at the Waterfront Restaurant and Whaley's. He was loved and respected by many in the community.
The past few years were spent fighting a battle with malignant neoplasm of the liver. On the morning of his death, he was surrounded by friends and family who had cared for him in his last days.
Warren was the son of Leonard Vincent Kosinski of Aiken, South Carolina (deceased) and Marie (Montfort) Johnson of Danville, Florida. His son, Donnie, predeceased him.
He is survived by his mother, a sister, Tamara Lambert, of Danville, 2 brothers, Tim Lambert, of Westville, Florida, and Dean Kosinski (Gayle), of Warrenville, South Carolina, a niece and nephew, Ellen and Daniel Kosinski, of Warrenville, South Carolina, and a daughter-in-law and grandchildren, Theresa, April, Thad and Brittany.
A memorial service will be held on Edisto Beach by Finn's Island Grill, 102 Palmetto Boulevard, on January 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
A smaller service will be held at his father's grave site in Aiken for close friends and family on January 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
