W.C. "Sandy" Sanders
GRANITEVILLE, SC - Memorial Services for Mr. W.C. "Sandy" Sanders, 74, of Graniteville, SC, who entered into rest December 28, 2016, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in the Calvary Baptist Church of Graniteville. Reverend James L. Young officiating.
Mr. Sanders was a native of Aiken, a former resident of North Augusta, having made Graniteville his home for the past 10 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was a member of the Webb Masonic Lodge #166 F&AM, a Shriner and a US Navy Veteran of Viet Nam. Mr. Sanders retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitter's Local Union #150 and was an avid Golfer and Fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ruth Sanders; a son, Blaine Sanders, North Augusta; a daughter, Angie McNair, Wagener; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Thomas Allen Sanders, Loris, SC; two sisters, Joy Gambrell, Prosperity, SC and Cheryl Sanders, Richmond Hill, GA; a special sister-in-law, Charlotte Netherland, Grovetown; a special niece and nephew, Sherry and David Fields, Augusta.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
