GRANITEVILLE, SC - Mrs. Wilhelmena Simpkins, 78, of 147 Breezy Hill Rd, entered into rest November 1, 2014. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
Mrs. Simpkins was a member of the Valley Fair Baptist Church and served on the A.T. Stephens Chorus, Pulpit Aide Club, and was Department Head of the Kitchen Ministry.
Survivors include, husband, Leroy Simpkins, Graniteville; daughters, Constance S. Smith, Graniteville & Miriam (Fred) Bailey, Aiken; sons, Maurice (Cathy) Simpkins, Augusta & Michael (Jackie) Simpkins, Peekskill, NY; 4 brothers, Henry (Jane) Norris, Archie (Lee) Norris, Clarence Norris, & Solomon (Sandra) Hood, all of Augusta; 8 Grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
