William M. "Billy" Creed
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Funeral Services for Mr. William M. "Billy" Creed, 68, who entered into rest May 12, 2014, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from Immanuel Baptist Church. Rev. Jimmy Coyle and Rev. Jimmy Napier officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park with Veterans Honors.
Mr. Creed was a life-long resident of North Augusta and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam and retired from SCE&G with 39 years of service. Mr. Creed was member of the Disciples Sunday School Class at Immanuel and coached rec sports in North Augusta for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Juanita Creed and his first wife Sandra Creed.
Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Faye Creed; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Billy Creed, Belvedere, SC and Derek and Chastity Gregory, Greenville, SC; four daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle Seaman, Beech Island, SC, Missy and Robert Proctor, Williston, SC, Summer and Tony Grier, Irmo, SC and Christy and Mark Dutton, Hephzibah, GA; two sisters, Montez Vanzant, Belvedere, SC and Audrey Crook (Mike), North Augusta, SC; 14 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rad Vanzant, Derek Gregory, Robert Proctor, Jr., Steve Anderson, James Wood and Keith Tapley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 until 8.
