William (Wil) Ray Day
LANGLEY, SC - William "Wil" Ray Day, 26, surrounded by his close family and friends, was called home to rest on Thursday, February 5, 2015, after his two year courageous battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at Pine Forest Baptist Church, Pine Log Road, Langley, SC with Pastor Ron Doss officiating. The family will greet friends at that time. His final resting place will be Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC, at a later date.
Wil was born in Augusta, GA and was a resident of Langley, SC for most of his life, having moved in 2011 and resided in New Haven, Connecticut. He graduated from Midland Valley High School in 2007 and was employed at Applebee's in Aiken, SC and at Friendly's in Connecticut. He loved the beach and swimming, but his favorite pasttime was hanging out with his friends. He also loved music and kicking up his heels. His greatest passions in life were music, making people laugh, and he loved life to the fullest.
Survivors include his parents, Belton and Becky Day, Langley, SC, paternal grandmother, Bonnie Day, Langley, SC, companion and soulmate, Anthony Bolstridge, New Haven, Connecticut, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.
