Willie Newsome, Sr.
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mr. Willie "PeeWee" Newsome, of Fir Street, entered into rest February 29, 2016 at Doctor's Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at Jacksonville Missionary Baptist Church of which the Rev. Ralph Holloway pastor and Rev. James A Adams officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Newsome, a native of Aiken County was a member and deacon of Jacksonville Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Bernadette Butler Newsome; daughters, Angela (Michael) Moseley, Ellaree (Tremain) McElmurray, Sherika (Remus) Brightharp, Carla Butler, Crystal (Charles) Baskett and Quinn (Rodney) DeBerry; sons, Stephan Curry, Willie Newsome, Jr., (Cheryl), Johnny (Tiffany) Hill and Carl Allen; 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law; a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call the residence or after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
