Brad Riley
AIKEN, SC - Brad Riley, 41, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday March 8, 2016.
Brad was born in Charleston SC on July 16, 1974. He was the son of Georgina Schettino Riley and the late William Patrick Riley. In his early years he attended Aiken Schools and graduated from Barnwell High School class of 1992.
Brad was a man who wore many hats. He was a devoted son, a die hard Clemson Tiger fan, a storm chaser, nature photographer, a loving companion to Beth, father figure to Brodie and a friend to many. He was a spiritual person who was strong in his faith and was closest to God when he was experiencing His power in the storms he witnessed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2 pm in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel, 715 E. Pine Log Rd, Aiken SC 29803. Burial will follow in the Aiken Memorial Gardens, 1523 Edgefield Hwy, Aiken SC. The family will receive friends before the services from 12:30 until 2 pm. The family suggest that memorials be made to CanHope, PO Box 3694 Aiken SC 29802 or The Animal Advocates, PO Box 1924 Barnwell SC 29812.
Survivors include his loving mother, Georgina S. Riley of Aiken; his fiance;e, Beth Brodie; step son, Brodie Nicholson of Aiken; paternal grandmother, Nora Riley of Barnwell SC; step father, John H. Mole Sr. of Barnwell SC; step sister, Chrissa Mole Mathews and husband, Chad and step brother, John Henry Mole Jr. and wife, Gray; several aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Pat Riley; his paternal grandfather, John W. (Bill) Riley, Maternal grandparents, Giovanni and Georgina Schettino and Marie Murphy Schettino.
Brad's family would like to thank Dr. Jeremy Wells, his staff, 10th floor oncology and 6th floor ICU doctors, nurses and staff for their love and compassionate care that was shown to Brad and his family.
