Della Lazzaretti, 72, of Sterling passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Greeley. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, November 3 at Tennant Funeral Home. Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 4 at Tennant Funeral Home with Deacon Ron Michieli officiating. Inurnment followed at Riverside Cemetery. Della was born on April 19, 1941 in Akron, Colorado to Samuel and Hildagarde Mary (Schwehr) Roys. She graduated from Akron High School and went to business college in Boulder in 1961. She was a bookkeeper and also worked for the Sterling paper for sometime. She married Victor Lazaretti in 1980 and was married until his death in 2009. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, spending time with her niece Ronda Cure, and going up to Black Hawk. She is survived by her brother Craig Roys and wife Adele of Boulder; 5 sister-in-laws; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor; parents Samuel and Hilda; brothers Gerald, Jack, and James Roys; sister Connie Fox.
