Darlene Amelia Wise Obituary
Darlene Amelia Wise passed from this life into the care of her Lord Jesus Christ on January 15, 2013, at 86 years, nearly 87. She was married to Arthur E. Wise, deceased, mother to Randy Wise, Candy Ferguson, Pam Henry Tannehill, and Penny Wise; grandmother to Dan Ferguson, Dawn McBride, Michal Taylor, Jackie Sharman, and Meagan Tannehill; great-grandmother to Cody and Kayla Sharman and Jordan Taylor, and survived by three of her siblings, June Silverberg of San Juan Capastrano CA., Virginia Eudaley and Donna Bradley and Arnold (Skip) Lang of Dubuque IA
Mom worked from home, nurturing us kids for most of our adolescence, then began a career in the banking industry, working for American National Bank of Denver and CityWide Bank in Montbello until she retired.

Mom loved to bowl and could be found with her friends bowling three times a week on their league. She spent the spring and summers grooming her flowers and decorating her patio. She would feed her little squirrel from her doorway. She loved to shop and dressed to the nines from the time we all can remember.

Mom attended Faith Bible Chapel, then Bethel Biblical with Pastor Bob Hooley until pain prohibited her to go. Her friends and neighbors, Archie and Jeanette Archuleta, their daughter, and all the family were so gracious to escort Mom to services weekly for years and treat her like their own grandma.

A celebration of Darlene's life will be held in the Pavilion at Olinger Crown Hill at 29th and Wadsworth on her birthday, February 24th, at 2:00 pm.
