Dorothy Watson Obituary
Dorothy was born and grew up in Otis, C.O. As a school girl she rode her horse "Snowball" to and from school. She graduated from Otis High School. After High School she took several college level classes and became qualified to be a teacher. She taught school for 3 years at High Prairie School in Akron.
She married Mannie Ray Watson in 1939 and they farmed for several years until about 1950. They moved to Greeley where she worked in the title and abstract business. Looking for more opportunities they moved to Denver in about 1954. Dorothy began working in banking and saw the bank go through 4 changes of ownership over her 31 year career. She retired in 1983.
Before her husband's death in 1974, the couple traveled extensively throughout the U S. She was an avid square dancer and loved playing cards.
Dorothy had many friends and truly enjoyed helping others. She was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed.
