Sharon Lee (Hunt) Koepke Obituary
Sharon Lee Koepke, 68 of Woodrow, passed away on November 9, 2014 at
the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
Sharon Lee was born June 19, 1946 in Brighton, CO to Harley and Lena
(Dean) Hunt. She married Don Koepke in May 1965 in Aurora, CO. From
that marriage two children were born: Chad and Dava.
Sharon loved the country life. She worked as a secretary for Laramie
Auxiliary Wyoming and later while raising her children, she worked for
the Woodlin School, Brush Livestock of Colorado and numerous cafes.
Her last job was at Last Chance Dairy King before it closed. From
1989 to 2014 she owned and worked at Country Gals Cleaning Service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, great-nephew Trae White,
brother-in-law Jim White, and nephew Goobie Hun t.
She is survived by her children, Chad and wife Shannon Koepke of
Burlington, Dava and husband Joel Bashor of Gill, and her adopted son
Randy and wife Mary Koepke of Oak Harbor, Washington; grandchildren
Tyanne Koepke, Cole Koepke, Amanda Abell, Sam Koehler, and Casey May;
8 great-grandchildren and 2 more on the way. She is also survived by a
brother Tim Hunt of Akron and sister Harlene White of Fort Morgan.
She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00
a.m. at the Washington County Event Center. A private family
inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be
made to the Woodlin School.
