William "Bill" Koger, 71, of Hudson passed away March 30, 2017 at Cheyenne VA Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was born October 6, 1945 in Flagler, Colorado to William and Myrtle (Spencer) Koger.
Bill was raised in rural area of Lindon, Anton, Akron and Burwell, Nebraska. He returned to Anton, where he graduated from Arickaree High School. A few years after school, he went and served our country in the Army. He married Pat Nelson and with this union, they had two children, Kevin and Kimberly. They later divorced. Then in 1982, he met and married Sharon Hannah of Nebraska. He became a dad to her son, Glenn Wilson and to this union the had two children, Kristi and James.
During his life, Bill was involved in his work as a truck driver, farm hand, ranch hand, teacher/mentor to children; his own and many others, plus he enjoyed rodeos, the National Western Stock Show, tractor pulls, tuff truck racing (with his kid), NASCAR, helping with Special Olympians and his family activities of watching his grandkids grow up, play in the horse tank (pool) and playing games with the kids.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his kids, Kevin (Lorri) of Wiggins, Kimberly (Craig) Potts of Delta, Glenn (Danielle) Wilson of Phoenix, AZ, Kristi (Matt) Koger-Clark of Byers, and James (Tara) of Grand Junction; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; brother Marvin (Janet) Koger of Brighton; and other family members and close friends.
He was preceeded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry; and by other family members and some close friends.
There was cremation. No services were held according to Bill's wishes. The cremation was handled by Wiederspahn Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, Cheyenne, WY. Condolences can be set to Sharon Koger, P.O. Box 145, Hudson, CO 80642.
