She had a passion for art, painting several oil pictures and teaching ceramic classes in her home. She quilted beautiful quilts for her family. Mary also enjoyed singing, playing the harmonica and guitar. Her creative nature led her to write poetry and short stories. Her artistic character was shown in her pristine gardening.
Mary was a stay at home mom, great cook, known for her homemade chicken and noodles. She always had her morning coffee and always had a pot brewing. She welcomed guests and portrayed a hospitable and fun nature.
