Jones, Gloria "Polly" J.  
Polly passed away at the Aristocrat in Alamogordo, Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, where she had been living. She was born on June 14, 1940, in Rule, Texas to Milton Tidrow and Juanita Jackson-Tidrow. She married her husband, Paul, on Dec. 15, 1956. Polly was a homemaker, taking care of her husband and raising three sons. She enjoyed camping, riding their all terrain vehicle, crocheting, knitting, crafts, puzzles and crossword puzzles. Polly and Paul belonged to many civic organizations. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, her father, her mother and a sister. She is survived by her children, Durward Jones and his wife Diane; Robert Jones, Ricky Jones and his wife Cathy; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Jan. 9, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the Hamilton-O'Dell Chapel. The Jones family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the services. Cremation will take place at PCS. Josselyn, Donald P.  
Donald P. Josselyn, 88, passed away on Dec. 4, 2014. Born in Minnesota, he moved his family to Alamogordo, sight unseen, in 1958 to work with the telephone company. After 36 years of service, he retired to drive cars for Desert Sun. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Eileen, and two of his sons, Michael and David. He leaves behind his special friend, Corine Weehunt, of Tularosa; his children, Penny Hardison (Chuck), of La Luz, Lela Singleton (Earl), of South Carolina, Larry Josselyn (Kathy), of Alamogordo, and Jimmy Josselyn (Danelle), of Alamorosa; brother Kenny Josselyn (Leona), of Alamogordo, and sisters, Beverly Maruska, Edna Perich and Polly Hibke in Minnesota. He had a special place in his heart for his daughters-in-law, Mary Josselyn, of Artesia, and Katie Josselyn, of Alamogordo. He has 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Hamilton O'Dell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be given to the American Legion Veterans or the charity of their choice. The Josselyn family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
