Jarry, Barbara (Legg)  
Barbara (Legg) Jarry, 57, formerly of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on April 29, 2015 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was the beloved daughter of Harvey Legg and Irma Ruffner. Cherished sister of Deborah Lerma and the late Tommy Legg. Wonderful mother to Scott Jarry and April Jarry. She had six beautiful grandchildren; Carson, Samantha, Audrianne, Brooklyn, Gabriel and Natalia. Barbara devoted most of her adult life working as a dental hygienist. Barbara was best known for her passion of gardening. she had plants and flowers that attracted beautiful butterflies. She took pride in showing her children how to plant flowers. Barbara had a soft spot for animals. In her lifetime she had eight dogs, two cats, two bunnies, a cockatoo and a lizard. She enjoyed holiday family gatherings, and cooking and baking together. A private memorial service was held with her family. The Jarry family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Jauregui, Clara (Ortega)  
Clara Jauregui , 87, passed away on April 27 in Alamogordo. She was born on August 3, 1927 in La Luna to Nicholas and Manuelita (Ortega) Apodaca. Clara was married to Henry Jauregui in Carrizozo. They worked hand-in-hand in the restaurant business for over 30 years as both owners and operators. Restaurants included Henry's Place and the Bus Stop Cafe. The couple retired in Roswell with their son Christobal and his family. The couple enjoyed each other's company until Henry's death in 2008. Many people came to know Clara as a kind and gentle soul who showed compassion to others and readily gave of herself. Her kindness made others feel as if they were one of her own. Clara was dedicated to her family and helped raise three generations of children. Her sense of humor won her many friends. A witty reply was never far from her tongue. Survivors include her grandson Abel Jauregui of Roswell; great-grandchildren Roman Jauregui, Ariana Jauregui and Carlos Jauregui of Roswell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Jauregui, her son Christobal Jauregui and her parents Nicholas and Manuelita Apodaca. The family will greet friends from 9 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rosary for Clara Jauregui will be recited at 9:30 a.m. followed by the celebration of the Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. with Father Mike Lindsay as celebrant. Cremation will follow at PCS. Inurnment will take place in Roswell at a later date. The Jauregui family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services. Jeske, Ronald D. - Modesto  
Ronald D. Jeske, age 68, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2015. He was preceded in death by his bride of 35 years, Eva Jeske. Ron is survived by his daughter Denise Olsen, son-in-law Jon Olsen, and his grandchildren Nathanael and Lauren Olsen. Ron was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but grew up in Pueblo, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Southern Colorado and shortly thereafter began a career in government service as an accountant and resource manager that led him to Indianapolis, Germany, El Paso, Texas, and White Sands, New Mexico, prior to his retirement after more than 25 years of service. Following his retirement he worked for the City of Alamogordo before moving to Modesto to be with his family. Ron volunteered at Railtown State Park and was an active member of a local train club while he lived in Modesto. Ron dedicated his free time to his grandchildren, family and friends.
