VanWinkle, Wanda Janice  
Wanda J. VanWinkle, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, in Alamogordo. She was born on Dec. 25, 1933, in Encino, to Mary Alice (Johnson) and Spencer Sharp Lippard, Sr. Wanda was an active member of several civic organizations in Alamogordo, including: Eastern Star, Pan American Round Table, Omicron Master of Beta Sigma Phi, Woodmen of the World, High School Reunion Committee and Friends of the Library. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Harvey F. VanWinkle of Alamogordo; sons Steven VanWinkle and his wife Jeanne of Morrisville, N.Y.; Franklin VanWinkle and his wife Kerie of Bartlett, Tenn., Larry VanWinkle and his wife Tresa of Alamogordo. She is also survived by grandchildren Karen Ann Walker of Knoxville, Tenn., Katie VanWinkle of Morrisville, N.Y., Amie VanWinkle of Bartlett, Tenn.; Kimberly VanWinkle of Eugene, Ore.; Jessica Mertz of Charleston, Ill.; Darla VanWinkle of Albuquerque; Kenneth VanWinkle of California and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Alice and Spencer Sharp Lippard Sr. and two brothers Spencer Lippard, Jr. and Charlie Lippard. A celebration of life memorial will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CAPPED, 907 New York Ave., Alamogordo, New Mexico, 88310. The VanWinkle family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services. Cremation will take place at PCS. Voorbach, Martines R.  
Martines R. Voorbach went to be with the Lord on Nov. 22, 2014, surrounded by his family. Martines was born Jan. 21, 1938, to Conrad and Ada Voorbach in Brooklyn, N.Y. Martines is survived by his wife Viola of 57 years, son Paul (Gerlene), daughters Mandy (Danny), Melanie and Monica, and brother Joe Voorbach. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Michael. The Rosary for Martines Voorbach will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at St. Francis De Paula Church by Steve and Liz Chavez. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated immediately after at 10:00 am, with Father Juan Carlos acting as celebrant. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers include grandsons Matthew, Justin, Derek, Cruz, Angel and Marcus. Honorary pallbearers include: his grandchildren and great-grandchildren Janet (Albert), Angela, Bianca, Jacqueline, Jacob, Sheila, Destiny, Louis, RayAnn, Tamara, Josiah, Alexandria, DeLaney, Joseph, Nevaeh, Catilyn, Cruz, Michael, Hailiegh, Samantha, Jazzlyn, Andre, Aaleyah, Esperanza, Damion and Noah. Music will be provided by Eddy Gonzales Choir. The Voorbach family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
