Baldomero P. "Baldo" Barajas, 60, of Alamogordo, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013. Baldo was born March 1, 1953, to Pedro and Maria de Rufugio (Perez) in Santa Maria de Los Angeles, Jalisco, Mexico.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Debra Barajas, of the family home; his mother Maria; sons Pedro Barajas and wife, Selena, of Alamogordo, and Thomas "TJ' Barajas and wife, Abby, of Albuquerque; daughter Kimberly West and husband, John, of La Luz; brothers Jose and wife, Ascencion, of Peru, Ill., Noberto and wife, Anita, of LaSalle, Ill., and Lino and wife, Marielaria, of Eagan, Minn.; sisters Altagracia and husband, Lulayo, Graciela and husband, Nicolas, Elena and husband, Juan, all of Las Lajas, Jalisco, Mexico, and Martina and husband, Gerardo, of St. Paul, Minn.; eight grandchildren, with one on the way; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Baldo had an enormous amount of friends that he loved like family.
He was preceded in death by his father Pedro; his brother Solome; and his sister Vincenta.
Baldo's greatest love and passion were his grandchildren; they were his pride and joy. He will be dearly missed, but one thing is for sure: the Chicago Cubs got an angel in the outfield.
Services will be at 11a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel.
The Barajas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
